If you have noticed that the user interface of SharkyScanner is regularly freezing during the scan of a poker client for 1–2 seconds and it leads to unstable operation of the application, then this is most often caused by the use of antivirus software.
There are several ways to resolve this problem:
- if your antivirus software uses HIPS (Host Intrusion Prevention System), try disabling it in the settings of the antivirus;
- if the method above is not relevant or did not help, try to replace or uninstall your antivirus software if possible;
- if you don’t want to replace or uninstall your antivirus software, pick another version of SharkyScanner that won’t be freezing (try installing one version after another going from newer to older ones until you find one with which the problem no longer occurs) and then disable automatic application updates (Options → Updates → Check for updates).
